Carnivals and clowns (1/1)

Thanks for the prompt anon! I hope you like the fill :)

“So what do you want to do first?!” Diana asked, practically bouncing on the spot in excitement as she glanced around the many rides that surrounded them “We could go on the swings, the waltzer, zero gravity, the tilt-a-whirl, the pirate ship, the hurricane, th…”

“Whoa!” Faye held up a hand, effectively silencing her overzealous girlfriend “How about you slow down before you run out of air, speedy?”

“Sorry.” Diana grinned sheepishly and bit her lip “I’m just excited.”

“And it’s a super cute look on you.” Faye smirked fondly “But there’s no way we’re going on those rides yet.”

“Why?” Diana pouted.

“Because we just ate and you’ll probably throw up.” Faye answered purposefully. Diana instantly began to argue but Faye was distracted by an especially loud yell over the consistent din of the carnival crowd and for the umpteenth time since arriving she was reminded as to why she hated Carnivals. The noise, the crowds, the buzzing excitement, the sticky screaming kids running around as they pleased…all valid reasons to avoid the Carnival as much as possible. Unfortunately Diana wouldn’t take no for an answer when she’d suggested the ‘date’. Faye grunted as a running child pushed past her and with a roll of her eyes she grabbed a protesting Diana’s hand and pushed her way through the bustling crowd until they reached a small table.

Fayana song of the day (Maybe this should be called song of the week): Said the people - Dinosaur JR. Kind of relates to a prompt I got this morning but I’ll probably write another fill later, at least showing Diana’s initial reaction to the news that Faye was taken.

Bring me something, bring me something I can use
Well here’s one thing, but it’s not the one I choose
I can’t help it, hope you show up soon
I can’t help it, I’m counting on you

Of all the people
Of all the people to let me down
Of all the people
Of all the people…why now?

Save me
Save me
Save me
Save me

Diana squinted into the darkness ahead of her, struggling to focus on the faint outline she could just barely make out. It was a female, that much was clear even with the person’s back turned to her. Beyond that she was oblivious.

“…Diana.”

Diana froze in place for a split second as the voice echoed around the ‘room’. Despite the voice not sounding entirely natural and being slightly faint, Diana recognized it immediately ”F-Faye?” she took a shaky step forward but as soon as she did so the person in front of her started to move away “No wait…FAYE!” she quickly broke into a run to reach the rapidly disappearing form “Faye, stop!” she vaguely realized that it was taking her a strangely long time to reach Faye, almost as if she wasn’t moving as fast as she wanted to. She merely gritted her teeth and pushed herself forward however. When she was within a few feet of Faye, she reached out and grabbed her arm to yank her back “Faye!”

Pretend this is a cut….

Glasses (1/1)

Requested by: anon (thanks btw!)

Really short one shot.

“Hey Faye, your mom let me in.” Diana stated loudly as she walked into Faye’s room “You’re not…” she stopped in her tracks at the sight of her girlfriend who was sitting cross legged on her bed, a book in her hands.

“Diana!” Faye exclaimed, hurrying to hide Cassie’s book of shadows behind her back. For some reason Diana always got irritated when she found out that Faye had stolen it “Um…what are you doing here?”

Diana ignored the question in favour of asking her own “You wear glasses?”

Sleepy (1/1)

Prompt from anon: Diana tries to wake up a stubborn, sleepy Faye.

Pretty sure this isn’t what you had in mind (I went a bit off track) but thanks for the prompt!

“Faaaaaye.” Diana called out quietly as she shuffled close to her sleeping girlfriend “Faye, wake up.” Faye showed no sign of response and Diana gave her a light shake “Faye.” There was still no response so she shook her again, slightly harder.

“Mmm…go ‘way.” Faye muttered rolling onto her other side to face away from Diana.

Fayana domesticity meme v 2.0

Fayana domesticity meme v 2.0

Requested by: anon (Hope you enjoy!)

This is really long. I don’t know how it got so long. :/

Who cooks normally?

When they moved into their own place, neither of them had really thought about domestic things like cooking and cleaning. They had just assumed it would be done like it always had, back at home. They had remained blissfully ignorant until they’d gotten hungry on the first night, culminating in a standoff in the kitchen.

“Why didn’t we think about this?” Diana groaned miserably, her hand lingering on her stomach.

Faye shrugged.

“Well, I can’t cook.” Diana stated quickly “You’re going to have to do it.”

“What?! Why?”

“Because if I do it, the house will burn down and we’ll have to move back home.”

“Don’t you think you’re being a bit dramatic?” Faye asked sceptically.

“Not in the slightest.” Diana answered sincerely.

“…Let’s just order Chinese.”

I wish I had (1/1)

Thank you for the prompt anon! I hope this is okay :)

“Remind me again why I’m hanging out with you losers.” Faye requested from her position at the end of the couch next to Diana who was squished between her and Melissa.

“Because we’re bonding.” Adam answered sourly from the floor, clearly not all that amused with the situation either “Outside of the circle.”

“It’s important to form some kind of connection outside of the circle.” Diana continued seriously “So that we can count on each other when we need to.”

“Why?” Jake asked pointedly from his position on the floor in front of Melissa “It’s not like those of us who don’t like each other are going to start.”

“Yeah.” Faye added, shooting Cassie a scathing look. The blonde, sitting precariously on the arm of the couch next to Melissa either ignored the jibe or completely missed it.

“Neither of you know that until you try.” Diana pointed out reasonably.

FAYANA SONG OF THE DAY: Placebo – Running up that hill (I went with Placebo’s version because it gives off a creepier, darker vibe than any other).

It doesn’t hurt me.
You wanna feel how it feels?
You wanna know, know that it doesn’t hurt me?
You wanna hear about the deal I’m making?
You (If I only could) be running up that hill
You(if I only could) and me be running up that hill

And if I only could,
Make a deal with God,
And get him to swap our places,
Be running up that road,
Be running up that hill,
Be running up that building.
If I only could, oh…

“What?”

“What, what?” Faye asked in response to Diana’s random question.

“You’re staring at me like you’re trying to figure something out.” Diana pointed out “What is it?”

Faye was silent for a long moment before she spoke up again with an exasperated shake of her head “I don’t understand you.”

“And this is news?” Diana asked expectantly.

“You have all of this power and all you do is bitch and moan about it. I really don’t understand you.”

Diana looked like she was considering what Faye was saying for a couple of long moments before she answered with a serious expression “If you could feel what I feel, you would understand.”

“How does it feel?” Faye asked interestedly.

“Like I’m not myself anymore.” Diana didn’t hesitate to answer the question “Like I’m dark…wrong. Like there’s something inside of me that wants to take control of me. When I think about it…” Diana closed her eyes for a split second, allowing the feeling to wash over her. Finally she opened them and stared directly into Faye’s eyes “I feel invincible. I feel like I can do anything and everything.”

“If I could swap places with you…”

“I know you would.” Diana offered Faye a sad smile “But not for the reason I want.” With that said, she turned and walked away, leaving Faye staring after her.

Faye frowned to herself as she watched Diana’s retreating back. She had the strangest feeling that gaining the power wasn’t the only reason she would want to rid Diana of the burden. She shook her head as if to dispel her own thoughts and turned back to the potion she’d been distractedly making.

Whipped (1/1)

Hey anon! Sorry for the super short, crappy fill but I figured I might as well try to write something up. :/

Words: 685 (Super short) :/

“When we finish getting rid of everything we don’t need, it’ll be easier to see what we’re working with.” Diana proposed as she glanced around the large room “And we’ll have more open space to practice.”

“What’s the point of this again?” Faye asked from her position on the couch next to Melissa.

“The point is to brighten the place up and refresh out atmosphere.” Diana explained for the fifth time “I think making the place more inviting will really benefit our magic.”

“Abandoned houses aren’t meant to be inviting.” Faye pointed out as if it was the most obvious thing in the world “They’re supposed to be creepy, dark and filled with a shitload of old stuff.”

Boobs (Side: Babe)

“Diana, stop staring at my boobs.”

“W-What?!” Diana spluttered, her gaze shooting up. She found Faye smirking at her from across the table “I wasn’t…” she glanced around the bustling boathouse bar and grill before turning back to Faye and lowering her voice to “I wasn’t staring at your boobs. I was…I was reading your shirt!”

Melissa snorted, drawing Faye and Diana’s attention to her “Oh…Sorry. Don’t mind me.”

“There’s nothing written on my shirt.” Faye smirked.

Diana flushed a dark shade of red “Um…”

Stay (1/1)

Thank you for the prompt anon! This is short but I hope it’s okay-ish :)

Words: 841

“Alright, I’m coming!” Faye yelled as she bound towards the front door which was for some reason being pounded upon relentlessly. She hesitated for a moment, wary of the fact that there could be witch hunters behind the door. She quickly shrugged the thought off, telling herself that witch hunters probably wouldn’t bother to knock and reached out to pull the door open. She was greeted by a furious Diana Meade who shoved past her into the house.

Faye barely had time to mutter a sarcastic ‘come in’ before Diana began to speak, her voice taut with anger “What the hell did you think you were doing back there?”

Faye pushed the door shut before turning around to face Diana. The usually quiet, easy-going brunette was practically shaking with anger; her hands clenched into tight fists at her sides “What?”

“What?!” Diana echoed disbelievingly “You know damn well what Faye! How could you be so reckless?!”

“Oh…that.” Faye rolled her eyes and crossed her arms “What about it?”

“Wha…Y-You almost got yourself killed!” Diana spluttered furiously.

“Well I’m still here, aren’t I?” Faye asked, gesturing towards herself “So why does it matter?”
