Eighth(?) in my series of Ruby/Faye gif sets. The others can be found HERE. Faye finally finds out Ruby’s secret when she (and Diana and Adam) witness Ruby turning. 

“Ruby, wait!” Faye called loudly as she crashed though a barrage of trees with Diana and Adam hot on her heels. She’d been trying to talk to Ruby all week about their so called ‘break up’ but to no avail. Ruby seemed determined to avoid even crossing paths with Faye. Faye had been hanging out with Diana and Adam at the boathouse one night when she’d finally been able to corner Ruby. The discussion certainly hadn’t gone well. Ruby had been acting panicky, like she couldn’t wait to get away from Faye. They’d had a relatively one-sided argument which consisted of Faye asking what was going on and Ruby trying to brush her off when Ruby had eventually snapped, shoved Faye out of her way and took off. Faye had quickly took off after her.  Adam and Diana, concerned by the harsh shove followed Faye. 

“RUBY!” Faye called again as she burst into a clearing. Ruby slid to a stop just ahead of her causing Faye to stop with her, breathing heavily. Adam and Diana crashed through the trees a couple of seconds later and ran into Faye’s back causing her to jolt forward slightly. 

“Ruby?” Faye called breathlessly. “Rubes, what’s going…?” she trailed off as Ruby dropped to her knees in the middle of the clearing. She made to rush forward but she was stopped by the sight of Ruby transforming before her eyes. In the blink of an eye, Ruby had transformed from the girl Faye knew (and quite possibly loved) into a savage wolf. Faye gasped and stumbled back into Adam who gripped her tightly as they stared in horror at the wolf. Obviously hearing the sound of Faye’s stumble backwards, the wolf looked up at them and snarled. 

“…Ruby?” Faye choked out in shock, just as the wolf pounced. 

Continuation of my Ruby/Faye gif sets. I think this is the seventh in the series? The others can be found HERE. Anyway…Ruby comes to the realization that her being with Faye effectively puts Faye in danger (set around wolfstime so Ruby/Red is feeling pretty down). 

“Being with me…it’s just not a good idea, okay?”

“I don’t…” Faye shook her head, completely befuddled by the conversation she was having. Up until an hour or so ago Ruby had seemed fine and then without warning she’d grown quiet and drawn into herself. “What does that even mean?”

“There’s things you don’t know about me.” Ruby explained. “I’m not who you think I am.”

Faye almost rolled her eyes at the irony of the situation. After all, if either of them was keeping a dangerous secret it was her, not Ruby. She was quickly distracted from the thought at the sight of tears forming in Ruby’s eyes. In the months that she’d known Ruby, she’d never seen her cry before. A sense of dread formed in her stomach as she nervously spoke up. “Why are you crying?”

“Sorry. I have a lot on my mind…” Ruby sheepishly apologized as she reached up to wipe the falling tear away.

“Like breaking up with me?” Faye probed. 

Ruby winced at the wounded tone of Faye’s voice. “I’m no good for you. I have secrets…”

“Well so do I!” Faye snapped, growing slightly desperate. “Who the hell doesn’t?”

“Not my kind of secret.” Ruby retorted purposefully. “Faye, being with me is dangerous and I don’t mean in an ‘I might hurt you emotionally way. I could hurt you in other ways.”

From anyone else that would have sounded like a threat but from Ruby it sounded like a defeated admission. Faye was silent for a long moment before she found her voice again. “I don’t think you would ever hurt me.”

Ruby smiled sadly. “I wouldn’t.” she stood up and closed the few steps between herself and Faye. She lightly placed her hands on Faye’s cheeks and leaned forward to kiss her. She allowed her lips to linger for a couple of long moments until she forced herself to pull back. When she did, she noted that Faye’s eyes had fluttered closed. “But that doesn’t mean my secret won’t hurt you.” Faye opened her eyes but before she had a chance to speak Ruby continued. “And I can’t take that chance.”

Faye felt her stomach flip with nerves as Ruby withdrew her hands and brushed past her. “Ruby.” she turned just in time to see Ruby walk quickly out of the door. “Ruby!”

30 day TV challenge - Day 1

A show that should never have been cancelled: The secret circle. 

Okay, so it may not have been the best show on TV. But it wasn’t the worst, especially pitted against the CW shows which weren’t cancelled. In my opinion there were so many ways the writers could have gone with this show and they left a lot of questions unanswered…What about the other four Blackwell’s? Will Adam ignore the curse and give into his feelings for Cassie? Will Diana return to Chance Harbour? What will Faye do now that she has her individual powers back? What about Jake’s avenging angel storyline? What about the change in Faye and Diana’s relationship, mentioned by Andrew Miller a while ago? 

Clearly I’m not the only person who thinks TSC should never have been cancelled if the many petitions are anything to go by - ‘We want season 2 for ‘the secret circle’ is the third most signed twition of all time with 24,729 signatures (and still rising!). 

Yet another Ruby and Faye gif set fic thingy. Oops? 

“Hey Faye.” Ruby greeted as Faye walked towards her with a peculiar expression on her face.

“Hey.” Faye replied quietly, coming to a stop in front of the familiar brunette. 

Ruby smirked to herself and allowed her gaze to flirtatiously travel up and down the younger girl’s body. 

“Um…Ruby?” Emma prompted when Ruby made no move to introduce them. 

“Oh. Emma, Henry…this is Faye.” Ruby said, gesturing between the three of them “Faye…Emma and Henry. They’re visiting.”

“It’s nice to meet you.” Emma said with a somewhat confused smile while Henry offered a small wave. 

“Likewise.” Faye returned the smile before looking back to Ruby “Ruby, I need to talk to you.”

“Go ahead.” 

Faye rolled her eyes at Ruby’s obliviousness but bluntly pressed ahead nonetheless “You keep hitting on me. Why?”

Emma’s eyebrows shot up at the question and she glanced between the two of them in shock. 

“I thought that was obvious.” Ruby smiled. 

“Right…” Faye took a moment to think about that “Well do you want to go out with me? Tonight?”

“Sure.” Ruby answered “Meet me here at seven?”

“Okay.” Faye bit her lip to suppress a grin “I’ll be here.” with a quick nod towards Emma and Henry, she was on her way. 

“Really Ruby?” Emma asked sceptically. 

“What?” Ruby asked innocently, though her patented grin was anything but. 

Part 4 in my Ruby/Faye series, I guess? I don’t know how they link together exactly but this part comes after the ‘Hot chocolate’ part. I hope you guys don’t mind these by the way. Random ship is random. 

“Oh my God.” Faye muttered when she noticed Ruby walk into the boathouse. 

“What?” Melissa frowned distractedly as she was drawn from her thoughts by Faye’s voice. 

“She’s here.” Faye tried to hide behind her hand to avoid eye contact with her ‘admirer’ whose gaze was flitting around the room. 

“Who?” Melissa asked in confusion. 

“Ruby - The new waitress.” Faye answered softly “She likes me.”

“Likes you?”

“Yeah, like…really likes me.” Faye nodded, risking a glance at the girl leaning against the bar across the room. She was greeted with a warm smile and a wave and quickly turned her attention back to Melissa.

“Are you sure she’s not just being friendly?” Melissa asked skeptically. 

“I know the difference between someone being friendly and hitting on me.” Faye said defensively ”She bought me a hot chocolate.”

“Wow.” Melissa responded sarcastically with a roll of her eyes. 

“She said it was from an admirer.” Faye glared at her friend “And when I asked who the admirer was said that it was her. She likes me.”

“Well do you like her back?”

“I don’t know. I mean she’s hot and all and she seems nice so I guess I could.” Faye allowed her gaze to slide over to Ruby and she smirked to herself “Plus, have you seen her in her uniform?”

“Well then you should ask her out.” Melissa said nonchalantly. 

“Maybe I will.” Faye agreed as the waitress met her gaze with a grin.  

Okay, last one I swear. There’s only so much Ruby/Faye I can do anyway. 

“Here you go.” Ruby declared brightly as she set the cup of hot chocolate in front of Faye. 

Faye glanced at the cup before looking up at the bubbly waitress “I didn’t order that.”

“Yeah, I know.” Ruby smiled “You have an admirer.” 

“Who?” Faye questioned with a roll of her eyes. 

“Me.” Ruby winked before she turned away to go back to her work. 

Faye stared after her in shock for a moment before gaining enough control to call after her “I don’t even know your name.”

“Ruby.” Ruby answered, shooting a grin over her shoulder “Enjoy your hot chocolate Faye.”

Faye shook her head as the forward girl disappeared from her view.

“I had no idea.”

AU in which Diana and Quinn (or Santana) were together but broke up. Diana regrets the breakup.
